Pascal. That's me. Although I was born in France (hence the good looks 🤪), I grew up in Southampton, England (hence my sometimes blunt sense of humour😬). I moved to Galway in 2005 at the age of 24, with to be honest, not a lot of grand career plans. Yes I just turned 40, but we won't talk about that.

Having worked in the hospitality industry most of my working life, I soon came to realise that working for someone else just wasn't for me. I always knew best, and looking back now, I must have been a right pain in the back side as an employee.

After a couple of years operating as a franchisee for a Galway company, I decided that there was only one way I could do business. My way.

So, in April of 2011, Pascal Coffee House was born, in Edward Square, Galway and later in Lower Abbeygate Street.

To mention the personal touch would be an understatement.

From the menus on the tables, to the photos on the wall. From the website you're on right now, to the Logo above the door. Everything, and I mean everything, is a product of my own creation. No graphic designers or professional photographers. No website developers or marketing managers.

I have an obsession with Coffee - Speciality Coffee, and a passion for good, honest, unpretentious food. Everything on our menu has been especially created, by me, to please my taste buds, and I guarantee yours won't be disappointed.

Step foot in Pascal Coffee House, and like it or not, you'll get a true glimpse of who I am.

I pride myself in the ability to surround myself with the best people around. I personally recruit all our staff members (with the help of my partner in crime and life Marta) based on personality more so than experience and qualifications. Nearly every one of our great reviews online mention the friendliness of our staff and the genuine laid back atmosphere in our shops.

So what are you waiting for? Pop in to us in Edward Square or Lower Abbeygate Street and try The Best Pancakes In Town for yourself. We can't wait to see ya!

Pascal.
